Laura Geller Makeup Haul

Hello and welcome back to Oh Elizabeth. Today I’m going to be talking about a few items I got from Laura Geller that I’ve absolutely have fallen in love with especially the two face products. From this collection of items I got, I’ve got a feel for the brand that it’s all about natural and healthy looking makeup which is really flattering. These products will leave you truly glowing from within.

The Laura Geller brand does not test on animals, they are cruelty-free. However, some of their products do contain animal-by-products.

Laura Geller Balance n Brighten Baked Colour Correcting Foundation – £21.00

This is my favourite product from the bunch, if not one of my all time favourite makeup products. This product is sold as a foundation but I prefer more coverage so I use it more as a powder and also light bronzer. Sometimes I will use with some concealer underneath for more natural days.

As a powder, it’s a miracle product for me. I have combination skin so I get oily through the day but I do have dry patches. There’s something about powders that really hate my skin and they usually make my skin texture look way worse, dry and cakey, and also emphasise my pores. This powder I apply after foundation and concealer and it transforms my skin.  It’s so light on the skin and it’s the only thing I’ve tried that doesn’t look powdery.

The baked effect with the different colours and brightening formula truly makes your skin glow from within and makes me look for healthy and fresh. It definitely follows through with the balancing aspect, as it really colour corrects dark areas and red areas all at once! It’s honestly such a transformation to your base with this one simple product.

The ingredients in this are also great. Antioxidants White Tea Extracts and Centella Asiatica are in there to protect against environmental aggressors and ageing. Also, Vitamin C is in there to give you a radiant complexion. It’s a little more pricer than my usual products but this is a higher end brand and this product is definitely worth the money. You get what you pay for.

This product contains no animal products.  I know for sure when this product runs out I will be repurchasing it as it’s become one of my holy grail products and I would recommend to anyone 100x over.

Laura Geller Baked Blush n Brighten – £23

I aren’t usually the biggest fan of blush, it can be quite unflattering on me. However, I really love this one. I think the shade just works perfecting for me. I have the shade Roseberry which is soft tones of rose and a touch of gold, which works so well with my skin tone. Being a slowly baked cream product, it means that this blush will last all day on your skin. Again, made with skin-loving antioxidants Centella Asiatica and White Tea Extracts.

Because of my skin complexion blushes tended to stick to dry patches and make my skin look too uneven which is another reason I stayed away from them. But this product goes on so smoothly, almost like a cream formula.

This product is very similar to the Balance n Brighten in the fact it’s very natural and leaves you looking glowing from within. It’s definitely a natural glow as well with no glitter making you look naturally stunning. I live for a glow.

Laura Geller Baked Colour Shadow Duo – £19.71

I’m on the fence about this particular product. They’re pigmented and add a lovely glow. Again working with a baked formula allows for a powder applies like a cream, allowing high pigment and a creamy texture that applies so softly with no creasing and will mean no fading or smudging. The formula is enriched with Jojoba Oil to re-texturise and soothe delicate eyelids. Vitamin E is also in there and also Centella Asiatica and White Tea Extract which provide antioxidant protection. I love these for day to day wear to just easily glide over the lid to add some colour and dimension. The duo packaging does mean that they are great for packaging however I do prefer a full palette as it means I have more colours to work with. I love the formula of the eyeshadows though and I feel that I would like to buy a full palette of shades to work with.

Laura Geller Italian Marble Lipstick – £14.19

I have this lipstick in the shade ‘Vista’ which is a sheer, soft creamy nude brown. The marbling swirl of light and dark pigments creates a vibrant depth of colour on the lips. The formula provides deeply smoothing and softening benefits, thanks to moisturising emollient oils. It doesn’t last too long on the lips but as long as you don’t mind reapplying it will leave your lips feeling super soft with a natural sheen. Alongside being hydrating it does give your lips a super healthy shine without being glittery or anything.

INKcredible Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil – £18.00

This is such a versatile eyeliner I love it. Great for day and night time looks. Love to use to smoke out on the top lash line as easily blend-able but will stay put. Very highly pigmented and vibrant colour; I think this is one of the most pigmented pencil eyeliners I have used. I have mine in the brown shade which is a really nice subtle change to usually using black. The applicator has a precision tip for even application. The pencil is super soft so won’t pull or drag which enables even more precision. With a waterproof and transfer resistant formula, this eyeliner will last you all day. The multi-dimensional eyeliner won’t run or smudge and glides smoothly onto the skin to impart rich, bold colour.

GlamLASH Dramatic Volumizing Mascara 8g – £19.00

Personally I aren’t a fan of this mascara as it doesn’t do what I want from a mascara. Considering the name being “Dramatic Volumizing” I feel this mascara focuses on adding length more than volume and I just need more thickness from a mascara so this product is a pass for me. However, if you are looking for a more natural mascara that lasts all day this could be one for you to try.

I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!
